The Ohio State University Alumni Society has recognized Cannon Design President of Professional Services Ken Wiseman through its “100 Buckeyes You Should Know” program. Wiseman is featured on the alumni association’s website via this link. The university previously honored Wiseman with a Distinguished Alumni Award from the College of Engineering in 2010.
Wiseman is responsible for initiatives governing the recruitment and development of the best design talent and technical expertise to perpetuate Cannon Design’s distinction in design, innovation and outstanding project delivery. He is best-known as one of the country’s premier designers of facilities for sports and recreation and his work has been consistently honored by numerous awards, publications and journals. Wiseman’s United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, was declared the “Foremost Sports Facility of the Year” by the International Sports Summit and his efforts with the Richmond Olympic Oval, the signature venue from the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games, helped the project secure the Gold Medal award from the International Olympic Committee/International Association for Sport and Leisure Facilities.
