The Center for Architecture and Design in San Francisco has launched an exciting new short film competition to help gather thoughts and perspectives on what architecture means to different people. The competition is named Architecture Is… and asks people to create a short video (under 3 minutes in length) in which they explain what architecture is to them and how it impacts their life. The submissions will be judged on their originality, creativity and ability to convince others of the importance of architecture. Anyone can enter, whether they’re an architect or not.
It will be interesting to see the different videos created and would be great if some or many from Cannon Design took the time to create a submission. There is no lack of interest, thought and passion in this firm on what architecture is and why it’s important.
For full information on entering the contest, visit this site and check here for more information on The Center for Architecture + Design. Thank you to Chris Lambert in our Chicago office for forwarding this to me.
