The Complexity of Multi-Disciplinary Structures.

Here is a great article on the obstacles that Colleges and Universities face in trying to set up multi-disciplinary structures. It should help us in our conversations with our clients. The article also has some insights that we may be able to use ourselves as we work in a more complex matrixed (is that a word?) organization.

    We are involved (the only A/E/P firm) with the Education Advisory Board and have lot of documentation on how interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research. I have placed these in the S&T folder in the sand box. The goal of being a member of the EAB is to leverage the documents with our clients.
