Julian Treasure: Why Architects Need To Use Their Ears

I recently found this TED Talk and immediately felt a need to share it. It is delivered by Julian Treasure and he talks about the importance of acoustics. As you can see from the description, poor acoustics can cause students to miss 50% of what their teachers say and patients in hospitals have trouble sleeping due to bad acoustics. Treasure encourages architects and designers to pay attention to the “invisible architecture of sound.
