It has been an inspiring week of travels and meetings for The Third Teacher. I wanted to share just a few brief notes from our recent efforts.
First, all of us have some fundamental fondness for summer camps. It’s wonderful to read this little vignette about what schools can learn from summer camps from MindShift. It’s a great read and I encourage you to take a moment or two to read it.
Secondly, I recently had the opportunity visit Brightworks in San Francisco. Brightworks is a school that was started by our friend Gever Tulley that works to reimagine K-12 education. The school takes the best practices from early childhood education and hands-on, project-based experiential learning to meet students needs in a flexible environment. I’ve posted some photos below.
