John Hill (@archidose) recently published a piece on his visit to and tour of The Power House, Cannon Design’s St. Louis office in world-architects eMagazine. Hill toured the building in early winter with George Nikolajevich and had many positive things to say about the piece.
I encourage you to read the article in full but a few of the key pieces focus on Hill’s impressions of the building’s “huge two-story arched windows that fit into the castle-like brick walls,” and the “new curving floor plates – accentuated by solid guardrails.”
Hill also talks about several projects the St. Louis recently completed and/or is currently working on including Instituto Nacional de Cancer (INCA), University Hospitals, Seidman Cancer Center and the St. Louis Public Library renovation.
