As Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Miller leads Cannon Design’s Executive Leadership Team and champions the firm’s Vision, fostering an entrepreneurial culture to achieve superior results in the growth of the firm and its people as well as design, project delivery, client partnership, and financial performance. He was a driving force behind the development of the firm’s SFMO® (single-firm/multi-office) culture, a practice approach that has contributed to the firm’s explosive growth and international leadership in planning and design. With past experience in key roles at both a major construction company and firm with significant real estate holdings, Mr. Miller has a deep appreciation and understanding of the relationships and teaming required to achieve consistently outstanding results in planning, designing, and executing complex projects. Perhaps unique in the industry, the values based, collaborative environment at Cannon Design reflects the philosophy that the best projects and best practices result from people working together to achieve shared objectives. Trained in economics and business management, Mr. Miller has dedicated his entire career to the design and construction industry. He joined Cannon Design 25 years ago and has served as Chief Executive Officer since 1992.
