From the July-August 2011 issue of American Scientist magazine — some updated information on studies linking the natural world to physiological well being. Taken in a broader context, the traditional ‘healing garden’ seems kind of inadequate. I hope for the day when we can design and build a healthcare campus that includes a ‘healing forest’.
